Heavily Monitored:  Juan Carlos Alonso Studios Crylophosaurus

This kit was recently completed and published in Prehistoric Times magazine, issue #90.  The kit comes from Alonso Studios and is a rare example of a Crylophosaurus, a predator from Mesozoic Antarctica that was about 22 feet long when full grown.  See how it was done here.

CreatureScape was founded in 2003 as a magazine on CD ROM, but as that became less and less viable, the website became the number one thing.  Over the years, we have had lots of guest writers and builders, kit reviews, film reviews, book reviews, music reviews, horror host profiles, kits for sale, kits for trade, galleries, even short fiction.  And all that was in addition to the model build ups and how-to articles and our build up service.

In short, by 2008, your loyal editor was officially crazy.  In fact, from November 08 to July 09, there were NO updates at all.  Basically, it got to be too much and I pulled the content from the site.

Then, I started getting the letters . . . when will it be back up?  Please don't kill the site . . . this is what got me back in the hobby!  I used to check your site every week  . . . what happened?

Okay, okay . . . I don't really want it to end either, so as of July 09, here is what we do: 

• Build up articles (with reviews)
• Kit Sales (Geometric Designs--ask if you don't see it)
• Build Up Service
• Stray Thoughts (irregular articles on irregular subjects . . . including the hobby)
• Sell Front Page Banner ad space for $120 for one year or kit trade
• Encourage you to buy stuff from Amazon to help fund the site
