The Horror Host Hotel Proudly
Presents: |
|
Professor
Anton Griffin:
Prof. Griffin is the owner
and exhibitor of The Midnight Shadow Show. Griffin graduated from
Dark Pillars University in Ingoldstadt and subsequently joined with
infamous traveling showman, Prof. Bruno Lampini and his Chamber
of Horrors. After barely surviving an attack by a psychopathic
hunchback, Lampini passed the reigns of the show to Griffin.
|

|
|
Griffin continued to tour with
his all new Midnight Shadow Show until, in a freak accident, an
unfortunate patron was trapped in the Vampire lair at feeding time.
Griffin was blamed for the attack and run out of town by the traditional
torch-bearing mob.
Settling in Griffin Manor,
he continues to run his side-show of the macabre, but now only through the
relative safety of television.
Prof. Griffin is played by
Joseph Fotinos.

|
DAN-DAN: |
|
Dan-Dan
is discovered living under Griffin Manor at the start of season two of
Prof. Griffin’s Midnight Shadow Show. Apparently, the old house was
built on the ruins of an asylum and Dan-Dan has been it’s longest
occupant. He is brought up from the caverns and begins working for Prof.
Griffin as his assistant. He is superhumanly strong, fun loving, and
completely insane. His insanity manifests itself in a variety of ways.
Sometimes he freaks out, Tasmanian devil style, and makes no sense at
all. |
 |
|
Other times, he is remarkably lucid and honest. His relationship
to Prof. Griffin is like that of a puppy, and he enjoys trying to make
Usher smile. (She never does.) He also prides himself on
being able to name all the members of YES, and enjoys wearing chains. Dan-Dan is played by
Gilbert Austin. |

Usher |
|
Usher is Prof. Griffin’s one and only real
assistant. (Dan-Dan is hopelessly insane and is often the cause of more
than his share of trouble.) Usher is competent and efficient. She
is, however, a little weird. She is the last living descendent of the
infamous Usher family and has some of the family quirks. She has
un-naturally pale skin with eternal dark circles under her eyes. She
often goes into a trance and stares at people for an uncomfortably long
time. |
 |
| She was
sent to work for Prof. Griffin by HIS boss, Prof. Lampini and
Griffin often worries that she’ll report the latest blunder or mistake to
him. |
| She is
loyal to Professor Griffin however, and is usually one cool character.
That is, unless Christopher Lee is mentioned or involved. Usher
is madly in love with Chris Lee and talks about him whenever she
can. If The Shadow Show is exhibiting a Christopher Lee film,
Usher becomes wild with love. He is her dream come true…Tall, Dark,
and Gruesome. Usher is played by Kim Shafer. |
